Review

✨️Gave me nostalgic vibes!!

My impressions

✨ Anelthalien is a charming story full of adventure, curiosity, wonder, and personal growth! Definitely something I would have enjoyed reading as a young pre-teen/teen! Even as an adult, I found it to be a fun read! The writing style is fresh, though it starts a bit slow, which wasn’t necessarily a negative for me. Each young hero in the story is relatable and interesting in their own way.

This book takes you on an emotional/spiritual journey where it makes you reflect on many things. I can tell this series will have lots of symbolism which I’m so down for!! Your inner child will definitely appreciate this book, and most likely the rest of the series. One of the villains is my favorite character so far! I loved the creativity of the odd creatures in Anelthalien! I wish there were more images of them—maybe art prints in the future would be an amazing addition! ✨️

Overall: The pacing can be slow at times; this book focuses heavily on the characters’ preparations for their journey rather than the journey itself. However, I anticipate a quicker pace in the next installment as the characters advance towards their goal and encounter new challenges. I’m eager to see how their adventure unfolds.
