The plot

Luella, a Sassy, Driven, Strong, Kindhearted 19 year old, Healer of her small town, with that being her only life goal, not even love. Until her world is turned upside-down! The day the Elf King, Eldas unexpectedly arrives and claims her as his human queen, as she discovers that she has magic!! And the only salvation to save his world, because only her magic can keep his kingdom from death and absolute destruction! Forced into a marriage, to a handsome, cold king, she its taking away from the only place she knew! To start her new life and learn how to control her now, magic powers!

This book has not only left me wanting it not to end, but it has captivated my heart. I felt almost every emotion possible reading it. Anger, sadness, joy, and excitement.
I was very intrigued by cold Eldas, since I have always pictured Elves to be the complete opposite, but don’t let that fool you because you end up falling in love with his elegant, mysterious personality. 😉
The tension between them its exciting!

✨️Overall, I definitely was left with wanting more. It ended too quickly for my liking, but that didn’t ruin it for me one bit. It’s a beautiful story, im hoping that in the future, there’s a second book following their story! I was in love with the world #elisekova has created, and this has become one of my favorite books of all time.

Definitely would read / listen to it again!

Can’t wait to someday own a physical copy!!!✨️
