Pumpkin Spice Bread

Ingredients :
- 3 cups granulated suga
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- One 15-ounce can of pure pumpkin puree
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting the pans
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2/3 cup water
- Unsalted butter, for greasing the pans
Instructions :
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two loaf pans (9 by 5 inches).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and oil until they are well blended. Add the eggs and pumpkin, continuing to whisk until everything is fully incorporated.
3. In a separate medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, and cloves, whisking until the mixture is uniform.
4. Gradually add half of the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined. Then, mix in half of the water. Repeat this process with the remaining flour mixture and water.
5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pans. Bake for about an hour, or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean and the loaves have a golden brown color.
6. Allow the loaves to cool in the pans on a wire rack for about 10 minutes. Then, remove the loaves from the pans and let them cool completely on the wire rack, which should take approximately 1 hour.
